The newest expression from Don Julio, Alma Miel is an ultra-premium tequila distilled with agave honey. Translating to ‘honey soul’, Alma Miel is a unique blend of Blanco tequila distilled with oven-roasted agave honey and Añejo tequila that has been aged for at least 14 months, finished in Crémant du Limoux wine casks from the Limoux region of France, resulting in a lusciously smooth sipping tequila with slightly sweet notes of agave honey. Bottled at 40% ABV (80-proof), the nose opens with aromas of oven-roasted agave, wildflower honey and dried fruits. On the palate. expect notes of spiced orchard fruit , caramel, and rich roasted agave honey, culminating in a smooth and slightly sweet finish.…
