Bardstown Bourbon Company Phifer Pavitt Reserve Straight Bourbon is a beautifully endowed marriage between BBCo’s 9 year old select Tennessee straight bourbon and decadently fruit-laden Phifer Pavitt's Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon chosen by Suzanna Phifer Pavitt, winemaker extraordinaire. Aged first for a minimum of 9 years in new charred American oak and then finished for 19 months in 3 year old Phifer Pavitt Reserve cabernet sauvignon French oak barrels, this rich whiskey is matured to a cask strength of 107 proof. Composed of a mash bill containing 84% corn, 8% rye, and 8% malted barley, BBCo Phifer Pavitt Reserve bourbon was initially released in Spring 2019 and is part of the brand’s Collaborative Series of premium-crafted whiskey. …
