Fords Gin is made at Thames Distillers in London using wheat. The botanicals – including Spanish lemon peel, Turkish grapefruit peel and Chinese jasmine – are steeped in the stills for 15 hours before distillation. The result is a gin where the botanicals come to the fore. Fords London Dry Gin comes to us from the Thames Distillers in London with help from Simon Ford of The 86 Co., the chaps behind Aylebury Duck Vodka. For the botanical selection, the distillers cast their net far and wide, using a varied selection from around the world, including Grapefruit Peel from Turkey, Jasmine from China, Angelica from Poland, Lemon Peel from Spain and more, as well as Juniper from Italy.…

Tasting Notes

Nose

An intensely aromatic profile greets you on the nose with classic gin botanicals, particularly juniper.

Taste

Coriander and citrus peel are the highlights with the gin having an earthy backbone and piney juniper flavor. A gentle floral note is found as well.

Finish

The finish has a cinnamon-y bite and a moderate bitter flavor.
